Butternut Squash Stuffed With Hazelnuts

1 Medium Butternut Squash
1/4 Cup chopped hazelnuts
2 Tbl. brown sugar
2 Tbl. softened butter or margarine

1/4 cup water

 

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.  Prepare a baking dish by pouring in 1/4 cup of water.

Slice Butternut squash lengthwise and remove membranes, place into prepared baking dish

Mix together butter, brown sugar and hazelnuts, until well blended.

Scoop the hazelnut mixture into the hollow of the squash until filled.

Cover and bake for 45 minutes, test with a fork for desired softness.
